DMCA & Copyright

How copyright holders can request removal of infringing material from our platforms — and how to respond if you're affected.

Filing a takedown

Send a notice with all of the following to the contact form (subject: "DMCA"):

  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • Exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material.
  • Your contact info (name, email, address).
  • A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the info is accurate and you're authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens

  • We review within a few business days.
  • Valid notices → content removed + reporter notified.
  • Counter-notices are reviewed under the same standard.
  • Repeat infringers are removed from the platform.

Good-faith mistakes

Filing a false DMCA notice has real legal consequences. Only file if you own the rights or represent the owner.

What happens after a valid notice

  1. We remove or disable access to the material.
  2. We notify the uploader (where identifiable) with a copy of the notice.
  3. We keep a record for repeat-infringer tracking.
  4. We notify you once action is taken.

Counter-notices

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you can file a counter-notice with: your contact info, identification of the removed material, a statement of good faith, and consent to jurisdiction. Valid counter-notices restore content within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant files court action.

Repeat infringers

Accounts with repeated valid takedowns are removed. The studio takes copyright seriously on both sides — ours and yours.

Our own IP

Our code, docs, and branding are ours — see Licensing →. If someone is re-using our material without permission, tell us: subject "DMCA" or "Licensing".
