FAQ
Straight answers about Sonderr, the studio, and how we operate. No fluff section — every question here is real.
What exactly is Sonderr?
A privacy-first AI workspace. One command installs it, it runs on 127.0.0.1:4173, and you drive it from a browser tab: chat, real file tools with diffs, task lists, vision, web research and optional wallet tooling. MIT open source. Product page →
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Sonderr is free, MIT open source, and Kilo Gateway gives you free-tagged models with no API key. Nothing on this site is for sale — and we don't pay (yet) either, so there are no "premium tiers" to sell you. What we do and don't →
Do you collect or sell my data?
No and no. Zero accounts, zero analytics, zero telemetry — on this site and in Sonderr. The only network traffic is your chosen AI provider, the optional update check to GitHub Releases, and the websites you ask it to research. Privacy →
What are the system requirements?
Node.js 20+, npm, Git. Any OS that runs Node; the local Sonderr-v1 model prefers Linux x64 (glibc 2.34+) and falls back to a CPU runtime elsewhere. Install guide →
Why does the app block me until I update?
Required release updates. A newer stable release gates the workspace until it's installed — one click with automatic rollback. It keeps every managed install on verified code and is deliberately fail-closed. Security →
Can it run fully offline?
Mostly. Choose the local Sonderr-v1 model and inference runs on your machine. You'll still want to allow the GitHub update check (a normal HTTPS request), and web research obviously needs a connection. Models →
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Open a GitHub issue on dxn111/sonderr with steps to reproduce. For security issues, use the responsible-disclosure process instead — see Responsible Disclosure →.
How do I reach a human?
Email dxn1.0day@gmail.com or danipostma123@gmail.com — a human reads both. Support →
Who runs this?
DXN1 Studios — a one-person studio from the Netherlands, run by a 16-year-old. No investors, no outside money, no ads. About →
Do you take payments or donations?
We don't take payments — nothing is for sale. Donations aren't set up either; if that changes it will be announced, never assumed. If anyone asks you for money "for Sonderr", it's a scam — report it.
Can I contribute or join the team?
Yes — code, docs, tests, translations, testing on weird setups. It's unpaid for now (we don't pay yet); you get named credit and real experience. Join the team →
Do you do collabs, sponsorships or crypto promos?
Collabs: yes, if they're real (code, research, art, docs). Crypto promotion: no — we don't shill coins, tokens, trading groups or hype schemes, and we won't help promote anything crypto unless it's a genuinely trusted, established platform. The honest list →
What happened to the other products?
Retired with gratitude in 2026: SoundLink, NeuralShell, Academy, Labs, CREST, the original Sonderr CLI and the dark-web tooling era (closed for good). Old links redirect home. One product, one mission. Announcements →
