1 · Launch flags

sonderr              # start + open browser (default port 4173)
sonderr --no-open    # start without opening the browser
sonderr --port 4300  # custom port (auto-shifts if busy)

If port 4173 is taken, Sonderr moves to the next available local port — the console prints the real address.

2 · File locations

3 · Updating and reinstalling

The managed install enforces required release updates at startup with one-click install and automatic rollback (POSIX; Windows uses manual upgrade steps per release). Re-running the installer over an existing install preserves the old folder as a timestamped backup. Source checkouts are never touched by the updater — development is exempt from the gate.

4 · Optional: direct email

Settings → Direct email supports Brevo, Mailgun and SendGrid presets, or headless setups via environment variables:

Credentials land in ~/.sonderr/.env with restrictive permissions. Gmail OAuth: create a Google Desktop OAuth client and save its client ID (or set SONDERR_GMAIL_CLIENT_ID). Outbound mail is rate-limited (1/s, 10/message, 100/hour) and passes the email-safety skill plus a visible confirmation card.

5 · Optional: wallet profiles

Settings → Wallet generates local EVM and Solana wallets with built-in profiles (Base/Ethereum mainnets + Sepolias, Solana mainnet/devnet/testnet). Nothing is configured by default beyond the first-launch opt-in, keys never leave the machine, and every transfer requires an explicit confirmation card. Experimental — keep ≤ €100 in it while testing.

6 · Development checkouts

Source checkouts skip the release gate and are never modified by the updater. MIT licensed — read everything, change everything, PR anything.
